Children outgrow things fast. A coat that fit last fall, the stroller that saw every sidewalk walk, the toy they loved for a season, they can all still be useful to another family. When drop-offs resume, local families can bring in gently loved children’s items, then browse for what fits life right now.
That is the simple beauty of consignment: the things taking up space at home can become someone else’s happy find. You get a friendly, practical place to move them along, with a chance to earn when they sell.
Shop for what’s next
Little prices. Big possibilities.
Browse children’s and maternity resale finds with room in the budget for the everyday things kids need. Our selection changes as families bring in fresh finds, so a quick treasure hunt can turn up clothing, shoes, toys, books and baby gear for the season ahead.
Shopping secondhand also makes it easier to say yes to the extras that make childhood more fun, whether that is a pair of boots for the first snow, a play kitchen for rainy days or a stack of books for bedtime.
There is no need to price, photograph or meet strangers in a parking lot. Once drop-offs resume, bring in the items your family has finished with, and we take it from there.
01
Sort what is ready
Choose clean, current items in great condition. Think clothes, shoes, toys, books and complete baby gear another family will be glad to find.
02
Wait for drop-offs to resume
Consignment drop-offs are paused starting October 17. Please wait for our reopening announcement before bringing in your prepared items.
03
Let them find a new home
We handle the selling. When your items sell, you earn 30–60%, ready to use for new-to-you finds or to cash out.
We look for items that feel ready for their next family: freshly cleaned, in current styles and in good working order. Clothing should be laid flat with no hangers, matching sets should stay together, and shoes should be paired. Bigger items are welcome too when they are clean, complete and have their manufacturer information visible.
When drop-offs resume, bring up to 30 clothing items and up to two bigger items such as toys, walkers, play kitchens or activity centers. We cannot accept items with stains, holes, odors, broken pieces or safety concerns. Car seats, breast pumps, mattresses, cribs and toddler beds need to stay home.
Why local families choose resale
Practical for today. Thoughtful for tomorrow.
A good children’s consignment store should make family life a little easier. That is why every visit can serve more than one purpose: clearing a crowded closet, finding a new favorite and keeping useful things in circulation close to home.
There is no perfect age or season to begin. Some families stop in with a single bin after a closet clean-out. Others bring the baby gear that has served them well, then leave with winter layers or the next size up. Start with what is ready, and let the rest stay in use a little longer.
Shop by the season, not the sticker price
Kids need the next size, sometimes all at once. Resale gives families another way to look for everyday layers, school clothes, shoes and outdoor gear without making every growth spurt feel like a major shopping trip. Because the store changes often, a quick stop can bring a surprise that fits exactly where your family is today.
Make the outgrown pile useful
Sorting outgrown things is one of those jobs that never quite disappears. Instead of letting good items wait in a closet or trying to manage individual listings, bring the pieces that are ready to move on. Consigning creates a simple next step for clothing, toys and gear that still have plenty of life left in them.
Keep great things in the neighborhood
When one family finishes with a favorite item, another local family may be looking for that very thing. Kiddy Korner helps make those hand-me-down moments possible even when families do not know each other. It is a practical cycle, but it also makes the store feel like part of the neighborhood: friendly, useful and full of possibilities.
Inventory changes every day, and consignment acceptance can vary with the season. Check Kiddy Korner’s social pages before a special trip for current needs and same-day updates.
